After moving to Texas, she began developing the playful child characters that would become central to her work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eAli studied at Houston’s Glassell School of Art before moving to New York, where she attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her focus soon shifted from photography to fashion, leading to a long-term collaboration with designer Anna Sui. Her bags and dolls were featured at Anna Sui’s SoHo store and Patricia Field’s iconic New York shop.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eAfter returning to Houston to raise her family, Ali created commissioned products for the Museum of Fine Arts and IKEA. In 2024, she returned to independent design with her collection, \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003ci\u003eReturn to the Around the Sun\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e.
