The creator of The Zoo Gallery received her BA from Auburn University. After graduating, Roxie moved back to Ft. Walton Beach to teach art at Choctawhatchee High School with her husband and co-founder Chris. She also furthered her studies at Florida State University's College of Fine Arts after successfully operating the gallery for decades. Roxie continues to captivate audiences with her vivid and evocative depictions of wildlife from around the world. As a passionate animal rights advocate, she firmly believes in the harmonious coexistence of humans and animals, a message that resonates deeply within her art.
