Criollo

Sterling silver scrap pieces are organized and riveted in a mosaic design on a round steel washer. Both case and band are made of solid brass, then distressed and oxidized. A 5 pound club hammer is used to transfer the texture of the concrete floor on the studio into the sterling silver pieces that adorn the band. Only 200 unique pieces will be made of each design before we look for another use for the more than 300 pounds of scrap.

Every watch is hand sculpted and painted individually, so each has its own unique variation. This is a Limited Edition; each watch is numbered and signed by Eduardo Milieris.
