Denise wants to remind us that "we are all perfectly imperfect". Growing up with a handicapped brother, Denise learned the "incredible beauty in imperfection". Denise's ceramic pieces are low to mid-range fired with glazes, slips, under glazes, and paints. Often with no general notion or sketch in mind, Denise creates pieces that break convention while also bringing a smile instantly.
